Hi! What’s up? Hey!

I’m Sara Agah Franti and I support women to discover their deepest values so they can live a fulfilling and impactful life.

As a child of Baha’i refugees from Iran, I was raised with the values of service and acceptance of all. But from childhood to motherhood, I would have to move through some painful experiences and make hard choices to make these values my own.

My experience includes working as a Registered Nurse for 10 years and earning a Masters of Public Health. My profession took me all over the world from remote fly-in camps in northern Canada, relief work in Haiti and the Philippines and finally travel nursing in California. After 10 years at the bedside I was inspired to co-found Do It For The Love with my husband, musician Michael Franti. Our work is to use the power of music to inspire hope in those facing life threatening illnesses and severe challenges.

I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit (by the age of 10 I had established popular car washing and dog walking service in my neighborhood). Most recently Michael and I have launched a clothing line (Stay Human) and expanded our wellness hotel (Soulshine Bali) where together, we host our annual music and yoga Soulrocker Retreats.

I am dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of others, and have come to understand (the hard way) that it’s only by knowing and honoring myself that I can make the greatest difference.

XO, Sara

My Beliefs.

  • I believe that in a world that demands you to be so many things, the most important thing you can be is your authentic self.

  • I believe the only way you can be truly authentic is to understand the deepest values that drive you.

  • I believe it’s hard work to live according to those values but you have the courage within you to do it.

  • I believe that who you are is constantly evolving and you need to be prepared to let go of old identities to become who you are now  (and be nice to yourself along the way).

  • I believe we all have the ability and responsibility to positively impact the lives of others...and that your authenticity is your greatest act of service.
